We aim to bring audiences an authentic Brazilian experience through education, events, and entertainment. We specialize in live productions of authentic Brazilian music & culture, from samba to forr and afoxe, NYSS wants to bring you an authentic experience.
Lead by Rio de Janeiro native, master percussionist and artistic director, Carlos de Oliveira, we produce and promote Brazilian parties for clubs & restaurants in NYC, produce shows featuring our performers & percussion and dance groups, and teach dance and percussion classes for the general public.
