The Mojack Band
DESCRIPTION:
The Mojack Band is a well received group of four guys and one lady from the mean streets of Malvern, PA performing classic rock, soul, funk and blues covers and originals with boogie, jazz-funk and white rap a specialty. The members include two brothers, Jerry and Joe, Joe's wife - Chris, brother-in-law Captain Rob and the man with the beat, Eric, known as "the Mole". The group blends together five different instruments, ie: strat guitar, electric blues harmonica, fretless fender bass guitar, nano bass keyboard and drums backing the soulful vocal harmonies of the brothers and bassist, Rob. The bands' first live gig was in 2001 and with new members Rob and Eric was in June of 2005 and has been steadily developing, releasing it's first popular original CD on called "Humpin' the Pole" featuring an eclectic mix including two white rap tunes. The group interacts well with audiences and has no reverse transmission when it comes to putting on a cool show. They love to boogie. Actually, the brothers, Jerry and Joe, have played music together since they were teenagers. So far the funky Mojack dance band has played a variety of gigs including outside concerts, pig roasts, private parties, smoke filled lounges and country clubs and is a well-seasoned band that's good to go.
