We’re Blue Daddy… an Orange County-based, bluesy-style cover band. We play as a trio -- Lead guitar, rhythm guitar/harmonica, with a lead singer & backing vocals. Blue Daddy has opened for James Harmon, John Mayall, BB King, Eddie Money...and has appeared on KOCE-TV's Sound Affects. They've appeared at the Coach House (San Juan Capistrano) and at the 2002 Doheny Blues Festival. Collectively, they've played in a lot of different bands...representing a lot of different styles and varied influences...ranging from Delta Blues, Chicago Blues, R&B, Gospel, Rock, Jazz, and Motown. Their sets include wonderfully-crafted original tunes...and time-honored standards flavored with Blue Daddy's own unique style.

Gene and the guys were an excellent and integral part of our event. They provided suggestions and were accommodating to our needs. They paid attention to detail and worked with us on what sound levels etc were appropriate for our venue and event. We would highly recommend them for your event. Our families left the event stating how much fun that they had and that they felt they were in a blues club. We had to ask families to leave so we could clean up. Thank you for blessing the families at Olive Crest!!

We were more than pleased having Blue Daddy perform at my 60th birthday party. I love the blues and they had a great play list. Blue Daddy invited us to a block party in July to see them perform with 3 musicians and they sounded great there and even better in our backyard. Good volume to dance and still have conversations. I ended up late to my own party but they kept the energy up and the guests happy until I arrived. They were so friendly and compassionate as well as being great musicians. Highly recommend.
