"Traditional blues played really really good" Portlands own, The Bridge City Blues Band, have been playing together for over six years. They have made their reputation playing a high energy mixture of blues standards both classic and new, from Jimmy Reed,willie Dixon, Howlin Wolf and Muddy Waters to Bo Dudley, Stevie Ray Vaughan, The Cream, and BB King. They have entertained regularly at clubs,wedding receptions, and outdoor festivals all over Oregon. The band is made up of experienced musicians with a heart and soul for the blues. All of the members come with different musical backgrounds. Something unique happens when the combined chemistries of this group collide, and audiences respond with the highest of praise.
The Bridge City Blues Band is suitable for any venue looking for soulful music that keeps your toes tapping and your feet moving. The band is known for putting on a great show by playing great music and keeping the audiance involved. Whatever your need may be, we will make sure your event is a success. Feedback
- Everything was great, we asked the band to be at the venue by 2pm and they were 5 min early, had everything set up, and sound check done before our ceremony at 4pm.
They also played a couple of songs that a few of our guest requested, which was great, and we had them stay 2 hours extra than our original contracted time.
We just want to say thank you again to Michael and the Bridge City Blue Band, you guys were great.
