Rudy Cortese can be booked as a solo act, duet, or band. Rudy's Rhythm & Revue, provides lively musical entertainment in a bluegrass style but is not limited to bluegrass music. Rudy is a singer/songwriter, multi-instrumentalist (banjo, guitar, mandolin, fiddle, Native american wood flute) and award winning entertainer. His duet partner Elizabeth Kronlage plays the tenor guitar, cello, and sings harmony and lead vocals. Together they are the nucleus of the music in whatever configuration you desire, from duet to trio, four or five piece band. A musical variety performance of high energy music with heartfelt tones. Bluegrass belongs in the Great Smoky Mountains! Rudy and Elizabeth brought warm hospitality and incredible music to our family reunion. Their excellence, friendly demeanor and amazing bluegrass added to an already terrific gathering. Several other folks from the area joined our little creekside celebration as they heard Rudy's music and were drawn to it like moths to a flame. We are already discussing dates for next year's gathering so that we can include Rudy and Elizabeth again!
