About

The Idle Time Band has been touring the Appalachian Region of North Carolina since their existence in 1995. Today's reformed version is a 5-piece band consisting of Guitar, Banjo, Mandolin, Upright Bass, & Dobro. All 5 members are seasoned musicians, having played in various other Bluegrass and Acoustic Bands. Additionally, all 5 contribute vocally to the bands signature sound. Two members have written and recorded original songs that are show-cased on our latest release Never Enough Time. Whatever your event may happen to be, we are sure to keep your party alive and entertained throughout the evening!
