Switchgrass is a bluegrass band at heart, yet as our name implies, we explore a wide range of material, from traditional fiddle tunes to jazz standards, classic rock to folk and blues... from the old to the new... an unpredictable, tasty blend of instrumental and vocal tunes, all played with the drive and finesse of a progressive string band.

Collectively, our group members have many (many) years of performance experience, and really know how to put on an engaging, entertaining, and professional show, that's appropriate for all ages. We have exceptional P.A. (sound reenforcement) gear, and can accommodate small, medium, or large venues. We don't play too loud, or too soft; we play just right! We are very professional; prompt; responsive; adaptive; a bunch of nice guys too!

For a nominal fee, we will learn and perform "special requests," for that special person or moment, like the Father-Daughter dance, your favorite song, etc...
