"From The Heartland" comes from the Sooner State of Oklahoma. The band started playing and touring in early 2004, and with a combination of original songs and bluegrass favorites with a little county, blues, and old time rock and roll.

"From The Heartland" also spends a lot of time in the recording studio where they have produced a number of CD's. "One Little Kiss" was recorded in Nashville for Platinum Plus Records and debuted at the Gibson Theater Stage for Fan Fair 2005, as well as Fan Fair 2006, on the B.B. King Club Stage. Their third album, "Lift Me A Little Higher" is a collection of original music created by the group. Several of the songs reached the top 100 on the European charts. They have release our 4th album "Lord Am I Big Enough To Pray" which can be purchased at or web site and by emailing me at

They are currently working on a new project.

"From The Heartland" tours and plays various types of festivals. Their travel log includes: Oklahoma, Texas, Arkansas, Missouri, Kansas, Louisiana, Tennessee, Iowa, Nebraska, Florida, and New Mexico.

Feedback

  • Very lovely people who were very easy to work with. They really make things easy, and just showed up and did their job. Since it was my own wedding, it was hard to listen to everything, but of what I did hear it sounded awesome; better than any of the clips online. Many of my guests commented on how good they sounded and how cool it was to have a bluegrass band play at a wedding reception. I really hope to see them play again sometime to just be able to focus on their music. -- Mark L, Tulsa, OK, 7/30/2011
