The Moonlighters Orchestra franchise gives you many options for bands specifically for your special event. The bands range in size from 4 to 20 pieces. We perform music for dances, formal galas, corporate events, community functions and street fairs, wedding ceremonies and receptions and more! We present a high energy or quiet and sophisticated atmosphere depending on your special event. With over 3,000 songs in our repertoire, we play "simply the best variety of swing, beach, oldies rock, ballroom and cotillion dances, Motown and more". We are NOT your typical big band. In addition to the swing big band, The Moonlighters Orchestra franchise also offers two groups that are very popular. Quarter Moon is our jazz quartet specializing in playing and singing classic jazz as well as vocal standards. This group is great for cocktail hours and intimate settings. Also we can provide our popular wedding/corporate event band known as Carolina Moondogs. This is a great dance band perfect for your special event. Based on the style of the great horn bands such as Blood, Sweat and Tears, Chicago, Tower of Power and others, this group gets guests on the dance floor with a wide variety of music including Motown, R&B, Oldies, Swing, Beach and original compositions.
