For 25 years, the Martinsburg Jazz Orchestra has been delighting audiences with its great sound, impeccable performance quality, and high-energy, highly-danceable music. Based out of Martinsburg, WV, the ensemble is made up of the tri-state region's best instrumentalists and vocalists.
Our extensive library of songs was developed with both dancing and listening in mind. From traditional swing and big band arrangements, to Rat-Pack martini-sipping grooves, to Latin rhythms and more, the MJO big band is everything you could want for your concert, party, wedding or other event.
With a full horn section, several male and female vocalists, piano, bass and drums, we are capable of working with you to alter the number of players, from the full jazz orchestra to a smaller jazz combo, to create the perfect sound for your special occasion.

If you're thinking of hiring MJO for your special event please do not think twice! These are some amazingly talented individuals and when you put them all together you get a show stopper! This wonderful band played at my 1960's Rat Pack themed wedding and needless to say they were a hit! Everyone loved them and so did we... They absolutely exceeded my expectations. Also the band manager was amazing accommodating! My only hope is that the band had as much fun as we did in! These guys and gals definitely made our dream a reality! We could not thank you all enough for making our wedding a night no one will ever forget!!!

PHENOMENAL!!!! MJO Way exceeded our expectations! I was concerned that they might be too loud...they were perfect. I was concerned the dance floor we ordered would look too small next to the amount of space a 17 piece orchaestra takes up....the dancefloor was packed and they had people dancing in the aisles. The young and the old were touched by their spot on sound, sheer talent and enthusiasm! I can't wait to go see them perform at another one of their gigs!
