Dan Gabel leads three different groups - each with similar goals focusing on entertaining the audience, but each with a distinct sound. All groups offer the same package described below, and guarantee a good time!

1) DAN GABEL and THE ABLETONES

Travel back in time with an 18-piece Big Band, led by trombonist Dan Gabel, recently returned from a world tour with The Glenn Miller Orchestra. Fronted by female vocals and sporting a vintage look and a repertoire of more than 2,000 arrangements, the Abletones are the real deal - a Big Band that looks and sounds just like the 1930s and 1940s

2) DAN GABEL'S HIGH SOCIETY ORCHESTRA

The Charleston. Chicago and New York. 1927. The Jazz Age. These are the images this 10-piece ensemble calls to mind as it stomps through known and rare tunes. You are sure to love our "Authentic Jazz from the Roaring 20's!" Perfect for white or black tie events, Great Gatsby parties, social functions, or just a great time with some toe-tapping music!

3) DAN GABEL'S HOT JAZZ COMBO
Have a smaller venue but looking for the same entertainment value and quality music? This group is customizable to fit your needs! We can provide a duo of two talented musicians up through an 8-piece ensemble. We can play soft music conducive to dining or conversation, and vamp up the sound to provide a fun dance set with recognizable tunes from the standard Jazz repertoire.


IN ALL CASES:

*We bring an audio system and sound engineer to each venue to provide consistency and balance.

*We set the stage, literally, with music stand fronts and stand lights.

*We wear quality tuxedos with color-coordinated vests and ties and leave no detail unnoticed, including dress shoes, pocket squares and french cuffs.

We believe that in addition to the ability to re-create an authentic sound, there needs to be a visual that conveys the same ideal.

We believe that you and your guests should come away feeling that at least for a few hours they were in an earlier, care-free time.
