Rasa Vitalia is a international professional performance dance artist, choreographer, and instructor of Middle Eastern Dance, with over a decade of experience in multiple dance forms, including Near/Middle Eastern, Arabic, Belly Dance, Moroccan/Andalus, Jewish, Turkish, Gypsy, Persian, Sufi, and Afro-Brazilian. Rasa’s mastery of sword balance, percussive cymbal rhythms, and dynamic movement makes her one of the most sought after performers in the world dance music scene. She performs as a solo artist to audiences in cities throughout the U.S., contributed her talents to several troupes, and works with an array of world-class, international musicians. Rasa Vitalia most often performs with a few select live Middle Eastern music ensembles including musicians on percussion, string and vocals. Rasa’s approach to belly dance is in essence improvisational, fluid, unique, sensitive, and expressive. Her artistry gives timeless form to the subtle truths of the heart. Rasa seeks to unite the spectator with the divine in Nature through her graceful movements, and gives a brilliant and generous performance her audience won’t soon forget.
