DESCRIPTION:
Maiiah has been performing the art of Middle Eastern Dance, professionally, since 1998. A seasoned performer, she has entertained at a variety of events such as weddings, anniversaries, showers, birthdays, bachelor parties, corporate events, nightclubs, restaurants, live bands, cultural events, fund raisers. She has traveled throughout the CT, RI, MA, NJ and NYC areas as well as to New Orleans, LA. She performs traditional cabaret as well as gothic-fusion styles and she specializes in performing with her serpentine dance partners (2 boas and an albino burmese python). She was the featured belly dancer in TLC's "Vampires Among Us" (2002), the music video "Embrace the Gutter" by the Autumn Offering (2006) and the DVD "Gothic Bellydance: Revelations" (2007).
