Amira

I am a middle eastern style belly dancer, which includes Arabic and Egyptian fusion, salsa and Bollywood. My dance is very feminine and graceful, and always family friendly!! I love to engage my audience and invite people to get up and dance with me. I dance at many venues that also include benefits, corporate and black tie events. I danced at Cairo Caravan-2009 (California) and competed at Wiggles of the West-2009, held in Las Vegas. I was a solo performer in the first Arab American Festival in Phoenix. April 2010, I danced in California at Rakassah, and perfomed at The Tempe Center for the Arts in the dance show, Mujeres, 2010 and 2011. Feb. 2011, Alexandria Dance Company, one of the professional troupes I dance with, competed at the Belly Dancer of the Universe Competition in California.
****I am a AFAA certified group fitness instructor, and AFAA certified Zumba instructor, and AFAA certified Osteoball trainer.
I teach Chair Dancing and Movement, Osteoball, Zumba and Zumba Gold and I am a certified Silver Sneakers instructor.
I was featured in So Scottdale Magazine-Health issue, November 2009, and in the July, 2010 edition of Phoenix Woman Magazine.

• Amira called to let me know she would be a little late because of an accident and detour. Her dancing was great. On her break, she mixed with the guests, answering their questions about dancing.
