Alana is a classically trained belly dancer who has studied under the tutelage of some of the best in the world including international belly dance stars: Dina, Randa Kamel, and Dandash. Her shimmies, hip drops, chest pops, and lyrical transitions combine with her fluid interpretation and striking beauty to make her performances exciting, evocative ethereal experiences that no one at your event will soon forget. Her samba is a combination of masterful technique, fierce footwork and passionate interpretation that will bring everyone to their feet. And should you prefer a more calm, breezy, relaxing but still vivacious evening, she can conjure a slow and sensuous mood with ease and put everyone in touch with the Rio rhythm. Having studied here in the United States and traveled to Rio de Janeiro to experience (and parade in) Carnival. Alana has become well-versed in the language of Brazilian samba. She is a dedicated performer, a consummate professional, and a true student of dance. As such she continues her studies to this day knowing that the best performer is the evolving performer. Alana is primarily a solo dancer, but can easily acquire the talents of other dancers (as skilled as herself) as well as musicians.
