Nimeera is an award-winning Bellydance/Bollywood/Bangra/Bandari/Mujra dancer with over ten years of professional performance and teaching experience, including featured appearances at several prestigious national and international venues. Her specialties include Zeffa with Shamadan, Raqs al Shamadan (candelabra), Raqs Sayf (sword), Raqs Assaya (Egyptian Cane), Veils, Isis-wings, fan veils, Khallegy Style, Bollywood, Bangra, Bandari, and Mujra.

Nimeera can accommodate requests for either recorded music or live band accompaniment, as well as personal instruction or group lessons. Her dance is very feminine and graceful, and always family friendly. She loves to engage her audience and invite people to get up and dance!

Nimeera's styles include Moroccan, Egyptian, Arabic, Turkish, Central Asian, Persian and Indian, both in Classical Ethnic and Contemporary styles. She specializes in ethnic weddings and parties, especially Egyptian, Persian and Indian. Nimeera was awarded 2nd place Grand Champion for Bellydance in the 2005 East Coast Classic and was featured in the May 11 2007 Alexandria Gazette, Fall 2006 I Do for Brides Magazine, March 24 2004 Washington Post, February 2004 Indian Globe, and April 27 2001 Washington Post. She has made appearances at a Washington Mystics game, on two music videos, several short films, and the 'Core Training for Bellydancers' exercise DVD.

In addition to her performances, Nimeera offers instruction in SharQui Bellydance Workout, Masala Bangra Workout, Bangra/Bollywood and Pure Bellydance. Private lessons customized to your needs are available upon request. She is AFAA Primary Group Fitness Certified, SharQui Bellydance Workout Certified, and Masala Bhangra Workout Certified.
