Are you looking for a captivating and exhilarating belly dance performance to spice up your next event? I enjoy working with clients to ensure that their party is a memorable one that their guest(s) of honor and event attendees remember fondly.

I am an award winning solo dancer who's trained in a wide range of styles of Middle Eastern Dance. From Egyptian to Turkish to American Tribal Fusion. I have been dancing professionally for 4 years at birthday parties, private events/clubs, restaurants, as well as charity fundraisers.

I enjoy dance because it allows for an interpretation of music that other people can relate to. This appreciation has blossomed into my dedication to this art form. Since my first class over 6 years ago, I have explored a variety of styles within the genre of belly dance to create my own inimitable blend.

Styles of dance learned & Influences:

2008-current: Egyptian & Lebanese styles with Samar Nassar, Ziva & Ahava at Hipline Studio in Berkeley.

2004- 2008: American Tribal Style in the Fat Chance Belly dance format.

2005-2008: Improvisational Tribal Style & Modern Fusion Belly dance in the UNMATA format.

2006-2007: Egyptian and Turkish styles with Vahana

Performances:
I often perform at showcase events in the Sacramento and East Bay area. Venues include Tribal Fest, Rakkasah, Java Cafe Oasis, Casbah Lounge at Annabelle's, Hot Pot Studios, India House,Cafe Bellie and Hipline Studio events. I was a house dancer at Andaloussia Restaurant in Sacramento from Feb 2009-July 2009.

I am also quite active in the Burning Man community and has performed on the playa at Opulent Temple and Hookahdome. In addition I have performed at San Francisco's Decompression/Pre-Compression events as well as various theme camp fundraisers. While I lean toward more traditional dance styles, I can adapt for a more modern twist and include fire props like poi and staff for a very dramatic performance.
