Mhairi Basilah

Mhairi Basilah has been dancing since chidhood. Coming from a mulit-cultural family she was exposed to many different dance styles especially Middle Eastern. She has studied with many renowned teachers such as Lotus Niraja,Artemis Mourat,Fatem Salen and at present Suhaila Salimpour. Mhairi has also studied and teaches Bhangra and Latin Dance and is studying for certification with Kukuwa Nuamah in Afro-carribean dance. Mhairi is a dance and wellness instructor and works with all ages. She is contracted with Howard County department of Aging, Baltimore County Department of Aging, The Community College of Baltimore County and Well Advantage as well as several independent studios. She is a memeber of AFAA and is an expert in adaptive exercise and dance. She studies her craft and is constantly seeking to learn more and loves to pass that knowledge on to her students and audiences. She is inpassioned dancer who will make your event a special memory. Classical Egytian, Egyptian Cabaret, and Tribal fusion Styles available. Performances for weddings, private and corporate gatherings, and bellydance parties(great for bridal showers and birthdays). No bachelor parties, please!
