Kahina Asurah

Kahina Asurah, native of Kiev, Ukraine, is a professional belly dance artist. Kahina performs Egyptian cabaret and modern Egyptian dance. She has performed across the tri-state area to name a few venues:the MERCEDES BENZ GALA, Wilmington, DE; the opening act for concert of REKNOWN ROCK STAR Michael Angelo Batio at Rp McMurphy's, PA; The PHILADELPHIA INQUIRER Travel Show at the Philadelphia Convention Center; BALLY'S, HARRAHS and BORGATA CASINOS in Atlantic City, NJ; Aya's Cafe, Philadelphia, PA; American Amarian Syrian Society, Allentown, PA; Sophia Restaurant in Margate, NJ; Rain Lounge, Old City in Philadelphia; Mirch Masala Restaurant in Bensalem, PA; and Rakkasah Festivals. She also is appearing often at a number of restaurants such as: Marrakesh, Fez Restaurant and Sphinx Café in the Old City section of Philadelphia; she regularly performs at Marrakesh Restaurant in Philadelphia and Casablanca Restaurant in New Castle, DE.
Kahina has appeared on the MIND TV program in the history of Belly Dance section. Her articles are published in the "MOSAIC" magazine, issue 52, London,UK and "SHIMMY" magazine, issue 9,US. Kahina holds certificates in "Journey Through Egypt" Level 1 and 2, and "Sahra-Style Cairo Oriente".
Kahina started dancing early in her childhood, while spending summers in the Black Sea region and in the Steppes, where she stayed with her grandmother. Kahina will work with you personally to customize an event to your preferences and will do her best to ensure that you and your guests have an enjoyable time. She will be available personally for communication with you by phone or via emails. She loves dancing at private events such as birthday parties, family gatherings, engagement, graduation parties, holiday celebrations, grand-openings, festivals, and cultural presentations where she encourages audience participation. Due to her professional standards and personal preferences she will not appear at all-male parties or bachelor parties.
