Dimitra, born and raised in Greece, has performed in Milwaukee and Chicago restaurants, festivals, private parties, corporate events,hospitals, Carnival cruise ships, at the WI State Fair and at an Elvis Tribute Artist event in 2012, at Serb Hall in Milwaukee, as "Little Egypt" . Dimitra chooses from 40 beautiful costumes and uses many props in her shows such as, swords, canes, veils, fan veils,Isis wings, tambourines and finger cymbals and even performs while standing and balancing on a doumbek drum.

Dimitra has danced to Greek, Arabic, Moroccan, Turkish, Indian, Nubian, Italian, American and even Irish music and she will dance to any other ethnic music upon request.
Dimitra has often performed bollywood style dances learned from popular Indian movies.

Dimitra has competed in pageants and has won the talent portion of the competition with her dancing. In 2007, she placed as 3rd runner-up in talent in the Mrs. Midwest America's Beautiful Star pageant, and in 2008 she won first place in talent in the Mrs. Wisconsin All american Achievement pageant.

Performances can be customized to the theme of your event and the guests are always encouraged but are never forced to join Dimitra on the dance floor.

Dimitra was the house dancer for 2 years at Mr. Gyros restaurant in West Allis, WI, she is CURRENTLY the house dancer at the Espana Tapas House in downtown Milwaukee, and at Dopp's Bar and Grill in West Allis. The time varies but usually after 11pm. She has danced at the following restaurants in Milwaukee: Casablanca on Brady, Tulip, Terra, at the Down and Over in Bay View, at the Whammy Bar in West Allis, at the Apollo (during State Fair) and at the Greek Village Taverna in Schamburg, IL.

Spring 2012 Artbeat: A Review by Kathy Nichols...."Closing out the night was belly dancer Dimitra who floated across the floor barefoot and in a traditional bellydance top, skirt, and veil. Her use of zills (finger cymbals) complimented the music coming from the bellydance coins attached to her ornate costume as she flowed across the performance area, shifting her hips in time with the music."
