Asala Bellydance Artist

Asala is a professional belly dance artist located in the Metro DC area and available for restaurant shows, corporate events, weddings, birthday parties, and other special occasions. Specializing in Egyptian-style dance with nine years of experience, her shows incorporate work with veil, sword, cane, and/or shamadan/candelabra.

Asala can accommodate requests for either recorded music or live band accompaniment. Clients have the option to make the show interactive, allowing audience members to join in the dancing and learn a couple of fun moves for short segments of the performance.

Asala is also available for personal instruction and group lessons.

• She was kind enough to take her own time to meet with me before the party. Absolutly delightful, charming, cute, witty- willing to make the party just what i wanted. She was willing to modify for children- the birthday-boy and the guests. I was thrilled when she took the added steps to send me pictures of different costumes and allowed me to choose. Party day, she checked in with me to make sure everything was a "go" and to see if there was anything needed (CLASSY GIRL). She was on time- did a show that thrilled the entire crowd- encouraging all to to dance along with her- when finished she spent the time to speak with the party guests.
