Amira, with her strong foundation in jazz and modern dance, found the magic of Middle Eastern dance irresistible with its many moods and earthy strength. A dedicated student of American Cabaret style bellydance and a dabbler in Tribal Fusions, Amira has studied under many masters of the dance from both the US and the Middle East. Blending cultural and stylistic elements with traditional movements, Amira brings her own personal flair to Egyptian, Turkish, and Lebanese dance. Amira Star brings the music to life, showcasing the true spirit of a woman: strong and graceful, joyful and elegant, sensual, and playful.
