Horns a Plenty is 5 brass horns and a drummer. We play all of the ballroom dance styles - East/West Coast swing, Lindy Hop, ballroom waltz, rhumba, cha-cha, tango and even Dixieland. With our instrumentation we can also play classical, Park Band, jazz, fanfares, ragtime and classic wedding favorites. This means we can play anywhere you want - outdoors, on the beach, in a park, as well as a party room, reception hall or church. We can play for both a wedding ceremony AND the reception, and we can readily move between the ceremony and reception sites. In a reception setting we give you the maximum flexibility as to where you want us to set up. And because we don't have amplifiers, microphones, cables or power cords, it takes us just a few minutes to set up where a DJ or rock band could take an hour or more. For wedding ceremonies, we work closely with you and your wedding planner. Most are happy with a mix of classical and/or romantic love songs. And we have a very good selection of ballroom dance music to choose from for your First Dance. Beyond weddings, we perform music for private parties, swing dances, college graduation ceremonies, corporate events, restaurant evening entertainment, church services, public events or even an afternoon concert in the park. Our standard price quote is $200/player ($1200 total) for up to 3 performance sets. For a wedding, the service would count as one performance set and then we could do two more performance sets for your reception. There's nothing more romantic than ballroom dance music for your First Dance.
