Foole 4 Hire is Roger Jorgenson, an Edmonton-based clown and magician with 28 years of experience in entertaining audiences all around Alberta and beyond. Below, I have divided my services into what I recommend for child and family audiences and what I offer to “adult” groups. Roger can be seen performing at Montana's Calgary Trail on Tuedays from 5-8 PM and at the Old Strathcona Farmer's Market most Saturdays from around 9 AM to around 1 PM.

SERVICES FOR CHILDREN AND FAMILY AUDIENCES

BIRTHDAY PARTY MAGIC SHOW – (Basic show is for 20 children but up to 30 more may be added. Ideal for 3-10 year-olds but suitable for all ages.) This is a lively 30-minute comedy magic show with loads of audience participation and laughter. The highlight is the magic birthday present that the birthday child (or his or her representative for those under the age of 3) helps me to produce. The show includes balloon art for all of the children. This is the best option I have for birthdays in homes and halls and is a terrific value.

COMEDY MAGIC STAGE SHOW – (Audiences from 15 - 500 and suitable for all ages but targeted to 5-12 year-olds) Interactive and very funny. Every year, Foole 4 Hire devises a new program of comedy and mystery for family audiences. Strolling close-up magic or balloon art may be added for a total entertainment package.

CHRISTMAS MAGIC -- (Audiences from 15 - 500 and suitable for all ages but targeted to 5-12 year-olds) Arjay wants to be an elf but at 6 foot 3, he failed the height requirement. Tasked with getting ready for Santa at your venue, Arjay leads the children through a series of magical misadventures. (Typically leading up to Santa's arrival but that is, of course, optional.) BALLOON ART -- Award-winning balloon art from a certifiable – er – certified entertainer. (Rule of thumb for booking balloon art = 40-50 children need one hour of performing time.)

STROLLING CLOSE-UP MAGIC – Mini miracles for masses of mirth-seeking mavens. Foole 4 Hire does indeed prepare for family events with effects that are suitable for even 3 and 4 year-olds. (Rule of thumb for close-up magic = your audience size MUST be 50 people or more.)

THE PARLOUR MAGIC SHOW (Ideal for private homes and smaller audiences of up to 75 people. Although the show is meant for adults, children over the age of 12 may enjoy it and, since there is no overtly offensive material, younger children may attend but they may not “get it.”) 40-minutes of magic and mystery for your intimate gathering of any nature. Great for Christmas, birthday parties and other small scale corporate events.

THE UNPOSSIBLIST (For gatherings of 20-500 people. Although the show is meant for adults, children over the age of 12 may enjoy it and, since there is no overtly offensive material, younger children may attend but they may not “get it.”) Mentalism and mirth for the new millennium. At edge of possibility lies that which is unexplainable – this is the realm of the Unpossible. Journey along those biways at the limits of human probability and learn that even you have the power to exceed all expectations. (Ooo – sounds spooky, doesn't it? Don't worry – the Unpossiblist is about as serious as a head cold. But the paranormal is fun to think about...)

BALLOON ART – Okay, stop rolling your eyes. After nearly 30 years I can assure you that ADULTS ENJOY BALLOON ART. They like seeing temporary art take shape before their eyes and they like a laugh – 2 things that I can provide. Typically, those party-goers who wish to take something home for the babysat will and the rest will watch and chuckle. Consider this for your reception time at ANY occasion.

CLOSE-UP MAGIC – With the caveat from above: this works best when the audience is 50 or more. Consider this for receptions and when you have buffet line ups.
