K.A. 'Dusty' McDaniel

K.A."Dusty" McDaniel has been playing pipes since 1994. He was the founder of the Scottish Rite Order Of The Thistle Pipes and Drums in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Under his leadership,the band grew to 15 pipers and ten drummers and competed Grade IV in New Mexico and Colorado.
They participated in Pipefest in Edinburgh, Scotland in 2005 and band members also participated in Pipefest in New York City, Nova Scotia, Canada and the Tattoo in Nova Scotia. He retired from the band in 2008.
He now works with piping students, performs and works with the other instruments that he plays, like the flute and guitar. He also enjoys singing.
Dusty would enjoy making your wedding, private party, etc. a memorable experience. Note: he does not charge for funerals, but donations are excepted, especially to cover travel expenses. This is based on his availability with scheduling.
