Biography Based in Upper Marlboro, Maryland - This musical collective, Kimmy & Klasse', hosts the lovely voices of Kimmy J. Kearse, Johnita Wilson-Dillard and Gwen Wortham. Joining together officially in 1994, lead singer, Kimmy J. Kearse, rasied in a military family, met Johnita in Junior High School and began singing with her 12 years ago, and they later met Gwen. Over the years the women discovered that they had a distinguishable sound and a growing musical following ever so eager to enjoy any one of their many performances. Unlike most, Kimmy & Klasse' have been afforded the opportunity through the years to hone their skills via live shows (radio & TV included) and recordings. Understanding each other's range to a science while methodically displaying a sound unbeknownst to most. Like Earth, Wind and Fire, these women blend to take you on a spiritual high, while entertaining your senses.
