Description
Hooch - Southern California Cover Band Playing Rock, Alternative, Dance, Funk, Blues, and Pop from the 60's, 70's, 80's 90's, and today.
Why should you pick us? We know how to play & sing. Our rating is excellent, and you can see we've done hundreds of shows & we make our clients happy. Don't pick a group with a 5 star rating that's only played once or twice. It's the experience that matters. When you wanna hear a rock groove, it'll sound like rock. We do harmony vocals. It won't be blown out, and ear-piercing, or sound like mud. All of our covers focus on melody, and sound like music. When you wanna dance, we'll get you dancing.
Weddings: We can also bring it down, and play something mellow with acoustic instruments. This is especially useful for weddings. We also can play wedding marches, or special songs by request, or CD/IPOD through our P.A.
The four of us have played for many years in multiple live groups. We've played internationally. We've played Festivals & Fairs, as well as numerous weddings, corporates, and parties.
A Band, A DJ, and A Light Show!!!
Our Equipment: We have professional gear, a beafy P.A. system, and an extensive D.J. style light show with color pods, effect lights, and a large fog machine. We also feature a dual professional CD deck that allows us to DJ for you between sets, and after our show during tear down. We've got many funk, and dance tracks for our DJ song list. So if you're looking for a real band to get your party going, and keep it going with a dance party, we are the guys.
Joel is featured on lead vocals, percussion, and horns. Sean is featured on Lead Vocals, and Guitar. On Keyboard, Bass & Lead Vocals, is Chris and Buck Trojan on drums & vocals. Have you ever wanted to hear a Jimi Hendrix, or Stevie Ray Vaughn tune live where the guitarist actually sounds like them? Sean does. We do requests, and songs typically consists of songs from Led Zeppelin, The Cure, The Beatles, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Jimi Hendrix, Stone Temple Pilots, Santana, Sublime, Billy Idol, Tom Petty, Tears For Fears, Grand Funk, Prince, Pink Floyd, Weezer, and many others.

- Wayne and all the guys were amazing. We hired them for our wedding of about 100 people and they had everyone dancing and smiling. Our photos from the day of the event show nothing but smiles on the dance floor. The venue only allowed the band to come an hour early but they wanted to come even earlier to be professional and on point with sound. They still did an exceptional job with only an hour to set up. I'd recommend Hooch for any event that you plan on having a good time with good music. - We were so happy with Hooch playing at our wedding. We had only heard small samples of their music over the Internet so we basically went on crossed fingers that they were any good. We did not feel like we were just another gig to these guys. They listened to what we wanted and went above and beyond to accomodate our needs. They arrived early and in the 5 hour gig only took one 15 minute break. I've never seen that before. Hooch took this job seriously.

- 2 words "Hooch Rocks". I had hooch play at my wedding this past weekend and man they turned it out. I gave them a song list which mostly consisted of Red Hot Chili Peppers, and boy did they jam. - The band was excellent! Everyone said that this was the best party they had ever been too, the band HOOCH MADE the Party. They could sing just about anything. We loved them so much that we paid for 2 extra hours to keep them around longer. And at about 12:30am, we needed to quiet down a bit, so the lead singer grabbed his acoustic Guitar and played on the patio. He sang just about every request thrown at him.
