Most people try to avoid drama at their wedding, but not Alicia and Matt. Big fans of the 1930s Thin Man movies, Alicia and Matt took their Hollywood-themed wedding one step further and hired a Murder Mystery company to create a mystery. To complete the theme, a caricature artist created a movie poster for guests to sign (instead of a guest book) and  GigMasters' member Gerard Carelli added a jazz style soundtrack. We're so happy to share these great images of Alicia and Matt's unique wedding from Jeffrey Mosier Photography.

The premise for the mystery was that the officiant had been kidnapped right before the wedding. The real officiant was sitting with the guests and "stepped in at the last minute to help."

The "detective" arrived right after the ceremony, questioned guests and dropped clues through cocktail hour, and then made the arrest just before the main course was served.

What I love about this wedding is that the theme and the mystery don't distract from the day, they add to the beauty and enjoyment of it.

Of course, I also love this wedding because GigMasters is the place to hire caricature artists, murder mystery entertainment and great dance bands like Gerard Carelli.
