All good things must come to an end.  The period leading up to graduation can be a particularly emotional and bittersweet time for students.  Leaving school - and your friends - can be exciting, stressful and even scary.  In the months of May and June, millions of American college and high school students will be finding this out first hand – and our hearts go out to them. No matter how you felt about your school years, chances are you have a graduation memory.  A lot of us have one song in particular that takes us back to that fateful day every time we hear it.

Here, in no particular order, are a few songs that remind the GigMasters staff of the day we picked up our diplomas:

It’s So Hard To Say Goodbye To Yesterday - Boyz II Men

School’s Out – Alice Cooper

We Are The Champions – Queen

What A Wonderful World – Louis Armstrong

Forever Young – Bob Dylan

The Graduation Song – Vitamin C

In My Life – The Beatles

Today – The Smashing Pumpkins

I Believe I Can Fly – R. Kelly

A Little Help From My Friends – The Beatles

A Time To Remember – Billy Joel

It’s The End Of The World As We Know It (And I Feel Fine) – R.E.M.

Changes – David Bowie

Everybody’s Free (To Wear Sunscreen) – Baz Luhrmann

We want to hear from YOU.  Is there a song that reminds you of your graduation?  Do you have a particularly funny memory from the day that you put on your cap and gown?  Let us know by leaving a comment below.
