But, if you want to try something different, consider hiring a flamenco guitarist or salsa band play beautiful music at your event. Add a little flair to your fiesta by hiring a flamenco dancer. Guests will enjoy the show and maybe learn a move or two!

Style A Fabulous Fiesta You absolutely have to have sombreros for your guests; they will love dressing the part during your Cinco celebration. When designing your party, make sure you use lots of bright colors – reds, greens and yellows. If you choose one party supply location, like Oriental Trading, you can match your table cloth, cups and plates for a coordinated theme. If you want to be thrifty, you can go to the local dollar store and purchase brightly colored, plain items that would work for a Cinco de Mayo fiesta. Adding centerpieces to the tables always makes a party look more polished. Be creative – you can use mini cactus or brightly colored flowers to create a stunning arrangement. Piñatas can also make cute centerpieces for a Cinco de Mayo party. Remember, you can also DIY and create some of your decorations. Try crafting these pom poms and luminarias in bright reds, yellows and greens. They would add some fun, colorful decor and you can save some money by making them yourself.

Spice Up Your Menu Serving delicious food is important for any party. Luckily, this holiday makes it easy with so many different tasty, fiesta appropriate foods to choose from. Start with some tasty appetizers for your guests to snack on. Nachos, fresh chips and guacamole, and a 7 layer dip will be enough to tide your guests over until the main course.  When it comes to the actual meal, we love the idea of creating a make your own taco station. You can set up a great buffet with all of the fixings and let your guests choose their favorites ingredients. To wash down all of the tasty food you serve, you will need to have some equally fantastic cocktails ready. Margaritas and sangria are Cinco de Mayo favorites, but don’t forget to also have some cold cerveza! Negra Modelo and Corona would make popular choices and you would be able to find them at your local grocery or liquor store.
