Each year we slither into scores of events with our extraordinary brand of animal edutainment, and we hope your group will be next. Our friendly snakes, lizards, turtles, and crocs visit schools, churches, scouts, family events, and many other venues. We bring learning to life with fifteen live reptiles from around the world, and native species from your own backyard. Our interactive shows are crawling with fun, laughter, and prizes, presented by Forgotten Friend Reptile Sanctuary's founder, herpetologist, and certified class clown, Jesse Rothacker (that's ME!).
The reptiles and I have been featured on television, radio, and print media around the nation. My "Reptile Fun Facts" and live field reports from the wild can be heard on "The Kids Cookie Break" radio show on WJTL 90.3 (Lancaster, PA).
I've authored stories for national publications like Reptiles Magazine, and contributed nature articles and photos for the Lancaster New Era and other newspapers in the mid-Atlantic region. As the Children's Pastor at Ephrata Community Church, I have a heart for children and families. Voted Warwick High School's Class Clown in 2000, I love to mix my passion for animals with my love for making audiences laugh. I've performed over 1,000 shows myself, and I regularly book family programs for ECC's Children's Ministry. So I have a very high standard for professional family fun!
We are new to GigMasters, but NOT new to events. Browse our event calendar for availability at forgottenfriend.org/events, read testimonials at forgottenfriend.org/testimonials, and request a free program booklet at forgottenfriend.org/booklet. While you're there, click around ForgottenFriend.org to find out more about our nonprofit animal rescue. Thanks for looking!
Due to wildlife laws and regulations, we can only serve in the state of Pennsylvania.
