Description
Stacy Arnold is a professional classical guitarist based in the North Texas area with over 20 years of performing experience. Mr Arnold holds a Masters degree in Classical Guitar Performance from Southern Methodist University where he was both a scholarship student and Graduate Teaching Assistant. Stacy currently heads the guitar department at Navarro College where he serves as Professor of Classical Guitar Studies.
Mr. Arnold’s students are active performers and teachers and hold positions as the head of guitar departments on University campuses. His students have been scholarship recipients at Universities such as Southern Methodist University and Southwestern Assemblies of God University and have been active participants in masterclasses and recitals at classical guitar workshops/festivals.
Stacy's concerts and performances showcase a wide variety of classical guitar music from the rich heritage of Spain and Latin America. His repertoire includes music from Renaissance Spain through the 20th century.
In addition to his solo concerts at Universities, Colleges, and Churches, Stacy has performed for various occasions with great success ranging from weddings, receptions, wine tastings, dinner music, corporate meetings/engagements, holiday/social gatherings, music festivals, libraries, elementary schools, and country clubs.
Stacy has performed for many prestigious organizations and venues such as the Waxahachie Symphony Association, Frisco Association for the Arts, Dallas Convention Center,Ft. Worth Convention Center, Ft. Worth Convention & Visitors Bureau, Louisiana College, University of Louisiana at Lafayette, Ft.
