Performing songs from such artists as James Taylor, Cat Stevens, The Eagles, Roy Orbison, Simon and Garfunkel, Van Morrison, The Band, America, Gordon Lightfoot, The Rolling Stones, The Beatles, Don Mclean, CSN & Y, Neil Young, The Grateful Dead, John Denver, Jim Croce and more, Doc & JC's guitars and vocals weave a musical magic that is sure to delight you and your guests. Doc & JC consists of Doc Butler and JC Cob. Doc is an accomplished artist who started his career during the days when Greenwich Village was 'The Place To Be". He traces his roots back to the same influences that gave rise to artists such as Bob Dylan, Jesse Colin Young and Eric Andersen. His CD album "No Doubt In My Mind" features Doc's soulful vocals and guitars performing all original tunes written by Doc. JC Cob is an accomplished guitarist and songwriter who has performed with such greats as Del Shannon and Freddy Cannon on the oldies circuit. His resume includes playing in venues such as The Felt Forum, The Bottom Line, Westbury Music Fair and The Beacon Theater, among others. His CD album "Between Yesterday, today, & Tomorrow" shows off his guitar skills, as well as his songwriting and arranging. Together, Doc & JC become more than the sum of their parts, bringing a new, fresh, yet familiar sound to the songs of yesterday.
