The Most Awarded Performer on GigMasters
18 ADDY Awards, 6 Clio Finalists, Country Music Association finalists, ACM Finalists-
My music is in full swing as I am playing guitar and singing more than ever. My smart phone keeps outsmarting me and delivering messages from folks who are engaged to be married, having a party, or booking me for dinner performances. You can hear selections of my acoustic solo work around the site and over at Carolina Musician. Remember when you have a request for a special song for your occasion, I will be glad to consider learning it if I don't already have it as part of my long list.
Logistics of your event are important to me. I set up well in advance and play the right music at the right volume. My music should always help you and your guests enjoy each other's company and the event. I am sensitive to the song selections that help you pace the celebration and make the best of each moment.
I have played at dozens of weddings , hundreds of gatherings including private house parties, community events, grand openings, receptions, office and corporate celebrations, and campus events. Each is unique and I strive to fill the needs with custom, professionalism.
I often refer to my yearly gigs as the Road Les Traveled ( referring to the Les Paul guitar). I have played from Charleston, to Nags Head, Ocracoke to Morehead and Atalntic Beach, Virginia's Homestead, Eceola Lodge, Grandfather Mountain, Virginia Beach, Columbia, Charlotte, Greenville NC and SC, Nashville, Tenn, New York City, New Orleans, Bath , NC, New Bern, Raleigh, Durham, Myrtle Beach. At Reynolds Coliseum on the State Campus in Raleigh, Memorial Hall on the UNC Campus, radio and TV, and literally hundreds of hotels, and country clubs.
I am a vocalist and guitarist based in the two Carolinas. I play and sing acoustic versions of the finest songs of the last 4 decades. Pop, country, standards, classics by Springsteen, Buffett, Beatles, Chesney, McGraw, Strait, Stones, Jason Mraz, Willie Nelson, great wedding songs like "At Last" by Etta, Ipanema by Jobim, Sinatra, and the new songs that get downloaded free instead of purchased at the record store.
I wish you a great event.
