John Jenkins Acoustic Guitarist from Burleson, TX

Greetings! I'm John Jenkins, a fingerstyle guitarist from Burleson, Tx. I have been a performing musician for 50 years and am looking forward to playing at your event! I grew up in the 1960s and 70s, and my musical tastes definitely reflect that era. I play mostly blues and folk based fingerstyle guitar, and can provide vocals to guitar accompaniment, or do purely instrumental music. I have recorded and perform original material but am happy to provide cover tunes as well. I do mostly classic rock acoustic (James Taylor, Jackson Browne, Beatles, etc.), but also have some jazzier, classical, and country offerings. I travel as light as possible, bringing enough gear to get the job done without creating a mess in your event space. If desired, I can bring supporting musicians, or a whole band. I will work with you on price if my initial bid is out of your range. I pledge to do my best to help make your event enjoyable and memorable (in a great way) for all who attend! I am fully vaccinated for Covid19 (booster included), and will happily and discretely mask up if requested, or if spacing in a party situation should require it in my judgement.
