(A Modern Day One Man Band) I've been a full-time performer for over 2 decades with over 5000 shows under my belt. In that time I've learned to read rooms and cater to the crowd. I've had the blessing of performing at every decade of Birthdays starting with 16th all the way to a 90th Birthday! After several years of playing downtown Nashville and sharing stages with amazing peers like Eric Church, Rascal Flatts, and Trent Tomlinson I made the decision to return home to do what I loved best - playing music people knew and loved in a variety of genres. I've played for groups of 10 to 3000, performed on TV and radio, played in basements to large concert stages, and one thing that stays the same is knowing how music affects each individual who hears it and doing my best to kindle that relationship each of us has with a song. It's important to me to convey that with each show. Whether you need entertainment for a small group of people or a large corporate event, Jeff James provides an incredibly eclectic mix of music THAT WILL TOUCH MOST EVERYONE'S INDIVIDUAL TASTES. Jeff says: "I offer what I believe to be the most unique musical wedding experiences from one company in the Midwest area. 4 Unique Music Experiences in 1 full day: Ceremony - Full Acoustic Instrumental Ushering in and out, Wedding Party, Processional, 1 or 2 songs during the ceremony, Recessional. I offer a full list of ceremony songs and if requested well ahead of time can learn a new one as well. P.A. (sound system is included in the price) Cocktail Hr - A variety of background acoustic guitar and vocal songs while your guests mingle prior to dinner (timing is up to you) Dinner Hr - Here the music atmosphere changes to instrumental ensemble music with a 3-4 piece band sound with music acoustic/electric Jazz, Blues, Swing with guitar/piano/sax/percussion at a background level. Timing will include party introduction (if requested) speeches, and any other special piece requested. I am also available to give a dinner prayer/blessing if needed. Reception Dance time/requested music. The Reception is completely catered to your tastes, some choose a traditional reception with a 1st Dance, Father/Daughter Dance - Mother/Son, Wedding Party Dance, Bouquet Toss/Garter, as well as a dollar dance. Others choose a more laid back wedding with some of these or none. On the music end, I create what you'd like for you evening. With the Jeff James Live Looping Show you truly get a full band sound without the full band price. In addition to the Live Music, I will also offer places during the evening for music that perhaps I wouldn't normally play live (i.e. Lady Gaga, Beyonce, Carrie Underwood, Cupid Shuffle, Electric Slide, etc) You can even make your own non-explicit playlists if you'd like. The music I provide ranges from Classic Rock, Rock, Country, Blues, Acoustic Rock, 50's-2000's. You and your fiancé choose from a list of over 450 songs. You can choose as little as 5 songs to as many as you'd like.
