Luke Honer

Luke Honer is a conservatory trained classical guitarist, he received full scholarships from The Hartt School of Music for both his Bachelors and Masters degrees.

Luke has performed in many venues, some of these include; wedding receptions and cocktail parties held at the Colonial Dames House in downtown Philadelphia and at The Glen Foerd Mansion on the Delaware. Private dinners held in the Hartford Capitol Building, Hartford, CT. More formal appearances include solo guitar recitals at Rowan University and Shenendoah Conservatory, also this summer Luke was a featured performer at the Hartt Summer Guitar Festival, Hartford, CT.

Luke plays the 'classics' from the traditional classical guitar repertoire that spans from the Renaissance and Baroque, to Romantic and 20th century. Luke will make bring your event to life with the beautiful cascading sounds of the classical guitar.

Lourdes Specialty Hospital had the pleasure of utilizing Luke Honer to play guitar for our Ribbon Cutting Ceremony. Luke played beautifully. He arrived promptly and was extremely courteous and professional. The music was such a beautiful addition to our evening and provided a very enjoyable backdrop to a busy evening. • It was a real pleasure working with Luke on my event. He followed up on the various emails that I sent almost immediately. He delivered his contract on time as promised. From a business perspective alone, he was a true professional. That said, as far as musicianship, he was even more than I could have asked for. He arrived to the event ahead of schedule, his set-up was quick and quite and no one really noticed he was there until he started to warm up.
