Clyde has been playing in bands since 1966: The Outcasts, The Avengers, AURA, Elmer J. Fudd, Silver Creek, Mistress, Chance, and others. See pics at cspang1dotcom.

He also attended college and obtained two teaching degrees. However, unable to find a good fit in a teaching position locally, he is concentrating on his music career - finally recording songs he's written throughout his lifetime and writing new ones.

Although still employed by the Tim Heiniman Band from Reading, PA, he is venturing out on a solo career. He enjoys playing anywhere there are people who appreciate music. He loves to see people having a good time - especially older couples enjoying each others company on the dance floor.

Clyde considers leading worship at New Life Chapel in Lebanon, PA an awesome experience. He has written some of the songs that are used in the service. He has just released his first worship and praise CD called FAITH. Hear samples online at cspang1dotcom.

Clyde Spangler likes to keep current with the songs of today and performs some of the hits from the current top 40 from artists such as Bruno Mars, Train, Plain White Ts, Jason Mraz, Mike Posner and Adele. He is also constantly discovering classic rock songs from the past that can please audiences of all ages. If allowed, Clyde will perform songs from his new CD called "Old Gin Road" with or without performance backing tracks.

Clyde has been recently working on expanding his performance capabilities to include wedding ceremonies and is learning classical songs on his new nylon string guitar such as Canon in D, Jesu the Joy of Man's Desiring and many others. He likes to add a little reverb to his small PA system to make the classical guitar sound phenomenal. Traditional wedding songs such as the precessional can be added from his laptop.
