Description
The Loose Interpretations is San Francisco's premier (and, sure, possibly only) all-female a cappella group.
Established in 2004 as a post-collegiate group, we are currently 14 voices strong. Our repertoire is many and varied...and a lot of fun, if we do say so ourselves.
We mostly sing original arrangements of pop covers, though our repertoire spans several decades and musical genres, from Gershwin to Annie Lennox, Simon & Garfunkel to Madonna, Stevie Wonder to KT Tunstall, and even a little Bon Jovi. (Yep, Bon Jovi. Toldja we were fun.)
We've performed at many private functions as well as corporate and charity events, weddings, and in clubs, cafes and concert halls. And since we perform without mics or instruments, we can sing just about anywhere -- we can do formal; we can do casual.
We are happy to tailor our set to be appropriate to the spirit of your event.
