Gigmasters.com, Inc. NOTE: If you wish to hire live entertainment for your special event, the first thing you need to do is a search for entertainment. Then fill out and submit an 'Event Request Form'. Please do not telephone Gigmasters Customer Support unless you've already been assigned a Gig ID number for your event. Thank you.

Our HistoryGigmasters.com was founded in February of 1997 by three New York City music enthusiasts - Kevin H. Kinyon, Michael Caldwell, and Alfred Freund. Their mission was to create a perfectly organized search engine of actively gigging musicians - a Yellow Pages of sorts, which would be used by those needing to locate and hire live music. 25,000 musicians and entertainers later, Gigmasters had evolved into the Internet's premiere booking service for live music and entertainment. The company incorporated in January 2000, and the Gigmasters booking service for live entertainment was born.
Gigmasters TodayGigmasters is now the Internet's preeminent live entertainment booking service with over 200,000 previous and current users located throughout the United States and Canada. Gigmasters offers professional event planners and buyers of entertainment the ability to hire live bands, singers, pianists, jazz trios, string quartets, harpists, DJ's, comedians, magicians, clowns, hypnotists, and dozens of others. Customers save time and money because they can contact an unlimited number of entertainers with just one click of the mouse, then watch as the entertainers bid in order to get hired for the job.
Corporate OfficersKevin H. Kinyon, Founder and President. Mr. Kinyon, 41, launched Gigmasters.com in February 1997. Previously, Mr. Kinyon was a financial management consultant for five years, most recently with Telekurs Financial. In 1989, Mr. Kinyon earned his B.A. with Honors from Pace University with a double major in Literature and Communications. He starred in the 1996 award-winning short film "On The Nod," has been a guest speaker at Trinity College in Dublin, Ireland, and is an avid marathoner, having completed the 2000 NYC Marathon as a member of Team Gigmasters. Michael Caldwell, Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Caldwell, 37, co-launched Gigmasters.com in February 1997. He is currently responsible for overseeing all aspects of technology for the company. He is a Microsoft Certified Professional with expertise in database and web architecture. Prior to Gigmasters, he consulted to numerous high-profile clients including Nestle Waters, CapitalBridge (formerly Citigate Financial Intelligence), SmartMoney.com, and Scudder Investments. Mr. Caldwell studied Viola performance at Indiana University, and graduated with a bachelors degree in Economics in 1992. He currently resides with his wife and son in Redding, Connecticut.
