DESCRIPTION:
We are a unique Ensemble of African American women who play music that spans the African Diaspora. The instruments we use are authentic West African percussion instruments and we add Acappella vocals to bring an uplifting and soulstirring presentation. There is no other Ensemble like The 'Voices Of Africa.'
We are dedicated to utilizing our music for the purpose of peace, healing and unity. We know the spiritual power and unifying power of the African drum and want an opportunity to bring you and your community to the plateau that defies prejudice, separatism, racism and bigotry. We have performed across the landscape of this country and outside of this country and continually get the same reaction. People rise to their feet and proclaim the rejuvenating vibrations that move their spirit, mind and body. Many have testified the cesation of physical, spiritual and mental dis-ease.
