Important occasions in our lives have specific telling moments. They need to be captured well for the ages, for our family now, and for those to come. Significant occasions are teeming with photographic possibility. Gabriel is tenacious and unobtrusive when capturing them. After completing a degree in cinema from NYU, Gabriel assisted over 40 of New York's best commercial photographers. He photographed assignments for many editorial magazines as well as weddings and private events. His approach to capturing events and non-professional portrait subjects is to allow for events and subjects to reveal themselves naturally and spontaneously with an occasional direction provided gently. The goal is to capture the essence of the entire day so the viewer can feel as if they were actually there. His portrait commissions follow the same approach. There is no right or wrong, and most important of all is that the session be relaxed and fun.
