He began his career in 1985 as a radio personality and "mobile DJ" in South Florida. He had owned, operated and successfully created two entertainment agencies, was personally hand selected by the legendary Dick Clark to open his first American bandstand Grill in Miami, was musical director for Rolling Stones' guitarist Ron Wood's nightclubs in North Miami Beach and was the first ever professional disc jockey to play Walt Disney World's Pleasure Island Resort in Orlando in 1989.
