THE MUSIC

Ashley Wilcox and The Cosmos features 6 members including 4 vocalists, bass, drums, lead guitar, and keys. The songlist reflects all of the classic dance and party tunes that all ages recognize and are delivered through fun, creative medleys, with transitions that are seamless so the energy stays on the dance floor all night. Ashley Wilcox and The Cosmos plays older classics from artists like The Beatles and Aretha Franklin, the familiar favorites such as Shout, Pretty Woman, Old Time Rock and Roll, and the newer songs that younger crowds enjoy but are still dance favorites such as Busta Move, I Got A Feeling, Ice Ice Baby, and more!


MASTER OF CEREMONIES

With years of theatrical schooling, training, and experience, both Ashley and Tim are excellent Masters of Ceremonies and front persons and work closely with wedding coordinators and party planners to keep the flow of your reception or event moving with announcements of bridal parties, party introductions, toasts, first dances, celebration announcements, as well as as just making sure people get up on the dance floor and have a great time!

Ashley Wilcox and the Cosmos were a huge contributor to my title of “Best Wedding Ever”. The band is truly talented and entertaining. The dance floor was packed the whole night with fantastic songs from all eras and genres. They even learned a couple new songs before the wedding because I wanted something on the play list that wasn't there yet. Everyone I talk with about my wedding compliments the band more than anything else saying how much fun they had and how great the band sounded, and I quote, “I couldn't tell for the first 3 songs that the band was playing, we thought it was the original artist they sounded so good.” They kept the whole event moving by doing a wonderful job as the MC's as well. Ashley Wilcox and The Cosmos were such a hit at our reception. Everyone loved them so much that our guests actually chipped in at the end of a night for an extra hour of music! They played a wide variety of great tunes so there was a little something for everyone and lots of good dancing. We also asked that they play studio versions of our songs before they played their set, and the group was very accommodating and happy to help.
