"We lucked out. All of our vendors were great but Jack and the band were unbelievable. We wanted a band that everyone would enjoy, young and old alike. Jack delivered. It was more than we had expected. Jack was extremely professional and we were able to enjoy our day as Jack kept everything on schedule and gave us cues to do all of the stuff that you have to do at a reception. Cut cake, first dance, father daughter dance, ect. You'd be surprised how when you are being pulled in many directions these things can slip your mind, Jack kept it all on track. The music was AWESOME! Everyone loved the band which was professional and dare I say, groovy. Everyone was dancing and he created exactly the mood we were looking for. We were told by several people that our reception was the most fun one they had attended. "BEST vendor we booked. Hands down. We had Jack + string bass, sax, piano, full drum set. He came recommended from another Cincinnati knottie (Kels18t). I called him about 10 mos before the wedding. At our initial meeting, I was extremely impressed with both his experience and organization. When we decided to book him and we were negotiating, he actually came in lower than what we asked for. We had three meetings prior to the wedding to review the plan for the night and select particular songs. Two weeks prior to the wedding, we submitted our play & do-not-play lists. He wanted us to be very specific. After each meeting, Michael and I came away feeling extremely confident that Jack would make the night run smoothly. He's done this many many times and just knows how the reception flows. At the reception, he was amazing. Extremely professional, entertaining, everything you would want in a person helping to keep the party going. He knew what songs to play when & when it was time for all of the events. If you go with him, you are guaranteed to have the best party ever. I have received innumerable compliments on Jack & his band… Michael's uncle is even trying to book him for his resort in Wisconsin."

"I cannot say enough about Jack Garrett & his crew!! We had a hard time figuring out what to do when we first booked our morning wedding and our afternoon reception music. We weren't sure if our guests would appreciate the traditional hokey "DJ" but we didn't want just a boring little trio playing background music. Jack made our reception a success!! He offered all the wonderful Jazz standards that my husband and I love so much but yet we had the ability to use the DJ for our current pop guilty pleasures! He even learned a new song for our first dance (Frank Sinatra's "Love is Here to Stay", perfect! It was the trio's first time playing it together, and it was PERFECT!!). All of our guests had an amazing time at the reception! Jack also provided as the "MC" so neither my husband or I were stressed about what came next and the flow of the reception. He was so professional! He met with us about 3 times to talk about our vision for the day, our fav. songs (and the "no-plays") and the order of dances, cutting the cake and special dances to include. He really cared about getting to know us and cared about giving us the reception of our dreams. He is very professional, flexible and very knowledgable about "what works". I think it was a little strange for him to host the "afternoon reception" but I can only imagine what he can do for a nighttime extravaganza! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!"

"We cannot say enough about Jack Garrett and his band! All night long, guests kept coming up to us asking where we found these guys. The music was absolutley fabulous! We had the 10 Piece band. Having great music for our guests was important to us. We had heard Jack perform at a friends wedding in Chicago. Of all of our vendors, Jack was our favorite! He spent a lot of time helping us plan the evening. We found him to be very professional, organized as well as fun to work with. He appealed to all age groups at our reception which is one of the main reasons we went with them. Consider us 100% satisfied! We would highly recommend them."

"Jack Garrett was our favorite vendor. He met with us twice before our reception to plan and go over the music. He was easy to work with and very helpful with ideas and tips. The band was great and the dance floor was full most of the night. We had a four piece band (Piano, bass, drums & sax) with Jack and a DJ he provided. Everyone had great time. Jack kept things moving and the music was exactly what we wanted. Everything was perfect!"

"Jack was great. He was the vocalist and we also had him bring a 3 piece band with him. Jack was easy to work with and is an expert at weddings. One of the reasons we chose him was because I wanted a live band and my husband wanted a DJ to make sure all of our guests were dancing and having a good time. Jack Garrett provides both a live band and DJ equipment that he uses together. The night flowed so well and everyone had a great time. He appealed to our older crowd and our friends in their 20's. Jack really worked the crowd and got everyone involved during dinner. Jack and his trio sounded fantastic and we are so glad we went with them."

As a father of the bride who's goal was to give his daughter a fairy tale wedding, these guys helped make the overall reception and night one we all will never forget. - The band was absolutley wonderful! Jack Garrett and his band were a huge hit with our family and friends. I wanted to throw a big bash for my fathers 80th birthday party. Dad loves Frank Sinatra so we checked out probably eight or nine bands trying to find a group that could play Sinatra music and swing but could also play more modern songs for our younger guests. They were professional, very polished and the music sounded fantastic! The dance floor was full all evening and the price was a real bargain. We would highly recommend Jack and his band!

- Jack Garrett did an incredible job with my sister's wedding. She wanted an old-time big band feel and he truly delivered! He gave excellent pointers for helping the reception move smoothly and couldn't have been more on top of handling every situation that came up. - Jack goes above and beyond the call of duty. Not only was he willing to accommodate our idiosyncrasies (e.g. special song requests, trivia games, wedding party announcements), but he made sure that he did it with professionalism and perfection. Making sure our wedding (ceremony AND reception) ran well was his main priority. He met with us twice. The first time we met was so that we could get a frame of events. The second time we met was so that he could get all the details perfectly. - Jack Garrett and his band made our party! They sounded great on the website but even better live! All of the musicians were first rate and very professional. Jack even met with us before the party to go over the music we wanted.
