I am a musician/vocalist. I have played the violin for 8 years, the piano for 13 years, the flute for 9 years, the cello for a little over 3 years, my voice since I was very young. I have sang in many choirs (PCC Symphonic Choir (3 semesters) & College Choir (semester & a half) and performed solo many times. From
Music Tutor/Musician/Vocalist/Song Writer & Music Composer 2007-2008 - Played violin in the Etowah Philharmonic Orchestra 2008-2010 - Played the violin in the 2nd violins of the Etowah Youth Symphony Orchestra by Mike Gagliardo in Gadsden, AL. In the Spring of 2009, I performed in a Piano Competition. Out of my performance, I got 14 C's and three A's. (Piano grading is backwards than regular grading. In regular school grading, it would be 14 A's and three C's.) In July 2010, I play the 2nd Keyboard part in the EYO pit orchestra for the musical "Joseph and the Technicolor Dream Coat". In the Fall semester of 2010 at Pensacola Christian College, I played the violin in the 2nd violins in the PCC Symphonic Orchestra. In the Spring and Fall semesters of 2011, and the Spring of 2012, I sang in the tenors section of the PCC Symphonic Choir conducted mostly by Mrs. Gonçalves. I have sung in many internship choirs. This past May, I played as an EYSO Alumnus, the violin in the EYSO for Children's Concert. I also, played and performed in/with the JSU's Orchestra. This past June, I played the violin in the 2nd violins of the EYO pit orchestra for the musical "Paint Your Wagon." Last summer of 2012, I gave out violin, flute, and piano lessons. I give private music lessons in violin, piano, cello, viola, flute, vocal, and music conducting.
I am a music teacher at (1) The Last Store in Boaz, AL on Thursdays and Saturdays, and (2) West End Music and Recording on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. I will perform for weddings/wedding receptions solo or with a group (such as with an orchestra), and for other non-smoking events. For weddings/wedding receptions, performing solo is $150 inside the state of Alabama, $300 outside the state of Alabama, provided with round airfare/bus ticket, transportation, room boards and meals. I will play for funerals as well. I can teach music theory, and I can also teach private music lessons at music stores and private/Christian schools (K-12). I tutor/teach from beginners to intermediates in violin, piano, cello, flute, vocal, and beginners in organ and viola. I can teach up to 2 days a week for hour lesson each day. The costs are: $15 per 30 minute lesson/per student and per instrument (if instrument is doubled, then the cost is doubled); $30 per hour lesson/per student and instrument (if the instrument is doubled, then the cost is doubled). Two days a week for an hour lesson is $60 per person/instrument. Three days a week for an hour lesson is $90 per person/instrument. (Doubling an instrument, the cost gets doubled.) Tutoring for Music Theory only, is $10 per hour/per person. Also, if I am able to, I will make available a place for my music students to perform in a recital; if possible, maybe I can arrange the recital to be at a Nursing/Retirement Home.
I am looking for an ensemble to play the violin, flute, or cello in or to vocalize in, that must be able to pay me at least $300 per month. The ensemble must be either in Cullman, Morgan, Marshall, Etowah, or Blount County. It would be nice if they played either country, bluegrass, celtic, and/or classical music.
In addition to Altoona, Musician looking for an ensemble will also travel to Garden City, Gallant, Cullman, Steele, Walnut Grove, Horton, Oneonta, Blountsville, Cleveland, Boaz, Attalla, Ashville, Albertville, Gadsden, Holly Pond, Rainbow City, Guntersville, Joppa, Arab, Baileyton
and many other locations in and around the Altoona area.
