Linda Beers

Linda Beers is available to perform exquisite solo violin music for your event whether it is a recital, party, recording, or you are looking for a strolling violinist.

Linda is a classically trained professional violinist and teacher. In addition to being a member of the 1st violin section of the Hartford Symphony Orchestra since 1997, Linda performs as a soloist for weddings, parties, memorial services, and other special events. Linda has also appeared as a guest artist for the following concert series: Island Concert Series, Fishers Island, NY, the Museum of Our National Heritage in Lexington, MA, the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston, and the Royal Majesty Cruise Line. She has also performed in Europe, Canada, and Hawaii. While living in Boston, Linda performed with Boston Lyric Opera and Boston Ballet and she has also toured with artists such as Andrea Bocelli and Linda Ronstadt, She can be heard on the recently released cd - Revenants, by the folk music group Mad Agnes. Her solo repertoire is a blend of standard classical, folk, opera, pop, movie music, and broadway show tunes. Linda also performs with a professional pianist, string trio, and string quartet.

Linda's violin playing is known for its beautiful sweet and soulful sound. She is very professional, reliable, and very easy to work with; finding just the right music for your event.
