Hailing from Santiago, Chile, Beltran is a professional violinist and violist fluent in many diverse musical styles. Beltran studied violin performance at The Interlochen Arts Academy and Berklee College of Music, and has just concluded his final tour with The Andrew Alden Ensemble, playing original contemporary chamber music accompanying classic silent film. He currently lives and teaches both violin and viola in Chicago, IL. Beltran has also shared the stage with greats such as Ivan Lins and Dream theater and is currently recorded in 2 albums that are balloted for the 2015 Gammy Awards.
