Puppets & Things on Strings combines ventriloquism, puppets and marionettes for a program of comedy, theater, and audience participation. • This was the most amazing, original thing I could have done for my son's 5th birthday. Mark came, set up, started promptly and kept the kids completely mesmerized for an ENTIRE HOUR. At five the children still believe there is magic in the world and Marks magic talking board proved what they knew to be true. He has an adorable bit with a chimp that needs it's diapy changed, drinks from a bottle then he moves to his puppet stage and does "Jack and the Beanstalk". There is lots of audience participation. • Mark was friendly to work with and while planning my event always responded right back to me by email and phone. He was very upbeat! He recognized my mother right away for her birthday, and got the audience involved in the performance. He was careful with his content for the audience he was performing for and a clean act. His puppets were in wonderful condition and very attractive. He was a fantastic ventriloquist, fun acts, good timing. • What an awesome performer! I had 6-yr old girls watching the show and they were all mesmerized for 45 minutes. Now, that's really good if you're tying to organize a party for 20 kids! • On May 22nd Mark preformed at our granddaughter's 1st birthday party. He was absolutely fabulous. His routine was very funny and very professional. • What a fantastic show! I hired Adventures in Ventriloquism for my daughter's 5th birthday party. There were over 25 children between the ages of 3 and 6, along with another 20 or so parents. Preschool age can be a tough group to entertain and keep engaged. Mark did an amazing job of entertaining both children and the adults. Smart, witty, humorous and fun. • A Child's Touch Christian Child care Center was Very pleased with the performance given to our 2-4yrs olds. There was audience participation and great visual effects. Before the puppet show began the puppetier gave clear instructions on when to join in with the show. The show was 1/2 hour and set up 1/2 hour. Just long enough for children of that age group. • We had Mark come perform for my son's 5th birthday party. He arrived ahead of time and set up his impressive stage well before the show was to begin. We had 18 four and five year olds and Mark had them all mezmorized for 45 minutes. The children were laughing and enjoyed participating in the ways that Mark encouraged them to do so. Afterward, the kids talked about how the board was able to move like it did--clearly magic! When asked what was his favorite part of the birthday party, my son said the puppet show and the cake.
