DESCRIPTION:
Terence McArdle and Jumpin' Tonight (AKA Big Trouble) delights swing and shag dancers, roots music fans, and blues lovers alike with a combination of swinging blues guitar, rough hewn vocalizing, swinging shuffle grooves, and pulsing horns. A five (and sometimes six) piece band with one of the best horn sections on the East Coast,
Jumpin' Tonight sounds both retro and modern. We play blues with a difference -- we mix a healthy dose of swing, be-bop, and even rockabilly into our style. We've played everything from corporate events to neighborhood bars, from concert stages to private wedding receptions. Dances are our specialty. Terence McArdle's debut CD, You Better Believe It!, was released in 2003, graced the Living Blues magazine charts in 2004, and has sold in such countries as Poland, Croatia, Argentina and France.
